Pro-Grade Anti-Spin Shield Anchors
Our heavy-duty shield anchors use a 3-piece or 4-piece split shell design. Compared to standard anchor bolts, this expands to grip a much larger surface area inside the hole. It completely stops the anchor from slipping or spinning during installation, making it highly reliable for concrete, hollow brick, and masonry walls.
With 20+ years of experience, T&Y Hardware supplies millions of certified fasteners annually to global construction, machinery, and petrochemical plants. We easily handle both large bulk orders and precise custom parts based on your blueprints. Send us your sizes or drawings today for a direct factory quote.

When you tighten the bolt with a wrench, the shield anchor bolt pulls the tapered cone at the bottom upward. This cone forces the outer metal shield to expand outward, tightly gripping the hollow wall and securing the heavy load using immense friction.
Installation is incredibly straightforward. Just drill a hole to the recommended size and depth, blow out the dust and debris completely, and tap the anchor in until it sits flush with the surface. Then, position your fixture over the hole, insert the bolt, and tighten it down firmly with a wrench to fully expand and lock the shield inside the wall.
Shield anchor bolts have high hardness and extremely strong tensile strength, specifically designed for heavy-duty structural fastening in hard walls like concrete. Lead shields are made of very soft lead alloy, generally used with lag screws, and are only suitable for light-to-medium duty fastening in old, lightweight brick walls.
The 3-piece shield is the most commonly used type, suitable for hard, solid, and high-quality concrete. The 4-piece shield provides a stronger grip and is suitable for hollow bricks and softer brick walls; it grips more securely and prevents the wall from splitting.
