What is weld studs?
Weld stud is a threaded or Without threaded column fastener. When in use, its head is fixed to the connecting plate by welding process.
Types of weld studs
There are many types of welding studs. Generally speaking, they can be divided into Capacitor Discharge Weld Studs and Drawn Arc Weld Studs according to the welding method. The studs can be made into several types: threaded, no threaded, and hollow internal thread.
There is a projection point on the head. After connecting to the plate through this spot, it is powered on for welding. The stud has metric threads, also called threaded weld stud bolt or weld mount studs.

Another type of capacitor discharge weld studs, which is hollow inside and Internal threaded, also known as IT type weld nuts. After welding to the plate, bolts or threaded rods can be installed on it.

It is a non-threaded weld studs, which is welded and fixed using Drawn Arc and can be used as a dowel.

Drawn Arc Weld Studs are commonly available in two types: full thread and half thread. The diameter is larger than cd weld studs and is suitable for welding to thicker materials.
